Short horned grasshopper

don' know but it falls on acrididae

Description:

It shows typical chewing and biting type of mouth part clearly with Hypognathus orientation of head. It harm on the crop by cutting of leaf and stem part of the plant. Its population is more in the rainny season.

Habitat:

It is generally found on the bund of rice field and many vegetable plot.

Notes:

Its egg is eaten by the Banded blister beetle( Mylabris orientalis), which is also pest of legume
