The eggs are certainly intact Jemma, they all hatched in pic #2
the egg case seems intact. Lady bug larvae eat the eggs up ,so nothing much remains.

Great macro shots. I love when you can get series showing multiple stages of development. I was lucky enough to have these eggs laid on a sliding glass door, which meant I could see into the eggs. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/495...
