Thanks for adding it! I was actually looking at the egg case when I made the suggestion. Chinese Mantids have a particular shape to their oothecae. If you look at the pictures on the link there are several images of egg cases for that species.

Added to you mission. Thanks for the id. I'm not sure if I can possibly positively identify them though by the image and because they were newly hatched.
