Narcissus tazetta subsp. tazetta
Narcissus tazetta is amongst the tallest of the narcissi, and is a is a perennial ornamental plant that grows from a bulb. Umbels have as many as 8 flowers, white with a yellow corona. Narcissus tazetta is a widespread species, native to the Mediterranean region from Portugal to Turkey and it is one of the commonest Greek narcissus species. It was spotted growing in an olive grove near Kala Nera, Pagasitikos gulf, Greece.
