A male Thick-billed Euphoniais.

Habitat:

Inhabits in subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and heavily degraded former forest of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela.

Hmm...On second thought the extent of the yellow on the forehead seem to match Thick-billed Euphonia better.

Beautiful photo! It's a type of Euphonia, I can't differentiate the species very well due to my colorblindness, but I think the Violaceous Euphonia fits this bird pretty well. Once again, a truly beautiful photo!
