Only about 1 inch from wing to wing (left to right) A very attractive moth, but unknown. I am leaning toward some type of Common Idia Moth (Idia aemula) Tell me what you think.

Your photo is great. I found this site, I wonder if you know it. Your moth is missing the usual pale dots on the forewings. Otherwise a close match.
