Byssomerulius corium
Byssomerulius is a genus of fungi in the Meruliaceae family --- Meruliopsis corium Fr. Ginns syn. Merulius papyrinus (Bull. Ex Fr.) Quel. Forming white to creamy-ochre patches, on dead wood, it can extrude to form low brackets at the edges, brownish with age. Spores 5-6 x 2.5-3.5um. Found on dead branches and twigs, normally on hardwood especially beech. Throughout the year. Europe and America. Not edible
The genus contains eight species, which have a widespread distribution ---- location: North America, Europe edibility: Inedible fungus colour: White to cream stem type: Lateral, rudimentary or absent spore colour: White, cream or yellowish habitat: Grows on wood
i found some name, because "eol" is busy with maintenance of the page, canot look for which is the right "synonym". Appreciate every suggestion about the right,actual name.
