Hi ForestDragon i have only one more photo. I think you are right to me it looks like a Meadow katydid. It was hard to get more shots, these katydid are very small. I was luck to get the two i have. thank you for your help.

Hi Ann, fun photo! This is a species of Katydid. It looks like a Meadow Katydid (Tribe Conocephalini) to me. Do you have any more pictures of this insect? Without more views of the body, I don't think that we will be able to identify the species.
