Leaf rollers are the larvae of several different moth species that infest many types of trees and shrubs, in this case Hibiscus sp. See http://ccs-hk.org/DM/butterfly/Pyralid/H...
Found on Hibiscus sp. in a large semi-urban yard & garden next to a disturbed patch of remnant forest.
These are frequently abundant on several Hibiscus shrubs in my yard but the plants ultimately seem not to suffer too much from the heavy infestations.
