This was another pearl crescent male that was basking in the sun on some dirt.The butterfly has orange and black patterns present on both fore and hind wings.

Habitat:

Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.

Notes:

It is found in all parts of the United States except the west coast, and throughout Mexico and parts of southern Canada, in particular Ontario.
