Small fly with a dark body. Yellowish coloration on sides of thorax and head. Thin, light bands on abdomen. Yellow spot on base of dorsal thorax. Wings patterned with dark markings.
Temperate forest. Cedar Point County Park, NY. Attracted to a light outside of a campground bathroom.
