Reef Octopus

Octopus vulgaris

Also know as Common Reef Octopus and Small Common Octopus. They can change color to match their surroundings. They feed on bivalves, fish, shrimp, crabs and other octopus.

Found singly on coral and rocky reefs, seagrass beds, sand and rubble areas.

Photographed this octopus during a night dive. I think it was hunting when we chanced upon it.

Look at the back of the Octopus in this picture, the GREEN color make it stands out, i think that is what Leuba means Blogie.
