Ashishnimkar...Yes that is true. The crocs are there, and I have seen a few grab a wildebeest, but most of them are on the sidelines already full since food is so plentiful. The wildebeest are just to paranoid and once 1 or 2 start to swim across, they all go crazy just to get to the other side. It is truly amazing and breathtaking.

I watched these type migrations many times on NGC, Discovery, Animal Planet channels. This is hunting time for Crocodiles and some other Predatory creatures to get easy hunt through this event.

AshishNimkar...No there is no predator chasing them. If you look at the 2nd photo in the series you will see there are about 10,000 wildebeest sliding down this ravine to cross the Mara River. There are crocodiles in the water, but they just go into a frenzy when they start to cross the river. The migration in the Maasi Mara is amazing to see.
