it also could be an intermediate egret. according to wikipedia, there are only 5 species of egrets in malaysia. Besides intermediate and eastern great, the other three are little egret, chinese egret, and cattle egret. The beak is too long for a cattle, and the little egret has a black beak. It could also be a chinese egret, i guess. Anyone else? :D

Thanks for all the compliments and encouragement . This series was taken at a seaside downtown Lahad Datu, Sabah, the tide was very low and many egrets were feasting , these hungry birds seem having great fun and i manage to get few good shoots with the 80-400mm lens.
