Nile Crocodile

Description:

We watched from the boat as this big crocodile slithered from the land into the water. Crocodiles (subfamily Crocodylinae) or true crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the tropics. The Nile crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) is an African crocodile and the second largest extant reptile in the world, after the saltwater crocodile.

Habitat:

Kazinga Channel between Lake George and Lake Edward.
