dry environment in the dusty areas near the beach
There are two species - if I can get both IDs I would be forever grateful :-)
Will do - thanks!!
Hi Nicole - Check out - http://www.birdsofsaudiarabia.com/2011/0... - Adesmia is a genus of beetles as well but Im unsure which species this one belongs to
Thanks, Martin!Looks like it could be that fellow.I'll upload a crop of that one alone as a new spotting.Since there's no plant in the pic, I figure, Ajmal meant the big beetle, just mixed up names...?Beetles are some tough Critters to ID
Adesmia is also the name of a plantTentyrina palmeri (small beetle) http://www.arkive.org/rack-beetle/tentyr... These ID's look good to me.
Thanks, Karen!@AjmalAdesmia is a plant ?!And can't find the Rack beetle :/
The most plentiful are Adesmia spp. beetles and the loner is a Rack beetle (Tentyrina palmera or something, cant remember the spelling) :)
Look up dung beetles
