Winika cunninghamii Formally (Dendrobium cunninghamii)

Description:

An orchid endemic to New Zealand, our only branched orchid the flowers are generally white but can have a considerable amount colour variation inside the flower. Is always an epiphyte.

Habitat:

Is always an epiphyte and is often seen perching high up in the canopy. Is often seen growing on tree ferns as it appears the texture of the stems is exactly what the orchid likes on the West coast of the South Island, where there is high rainfall.
