Description:

Spotted eagle ray, ~ 3 feet wingtip to wingtip, in mid-water.

Habitat:

Near shore tropical waters; coral reef ecosystem.

Notes:

Spotted about 60 feet deep near the port bow of the Mahi wreck off of Leeward Oahu. Date shown is notional, can only be honestly cited as 1991-1994. Original medium 35mm slide taken with Nikonos V; film later scanned and image saved as digital file
