Description:

This is a Lycaenid butterfly of the genus Jamides, probably J. coritus. Photographs show the under side of wings. The upper side of the wings flash blue in flight, in this very active flyer.

Habitat:

Equatorial lowland rainforest interspersed with (Metroxylon sagu) sago swamp.

Notes:
