slime mold plasmodium

Description:

globular reddish mass 1-2 cm wide on a pine-tree stump. I think it is the plasmodium of a mixomicete but it is lmost impossible to find out which one.

Habitat:

1500 meters high at puerto de Candeleda in Sierra de Guadarrama, Madrid.

I think it is the plasmodium of some kind of mixomicete, but it is almost impossible to go yonder with the identification!!!
