Description:

A tufty sturdy plant with hairy silver-gray linear leaves and white flowers with bright yellow centres. The plant was about 30 cms in height.

Habitat:

High mountain ranges.

Notes:

Found this plant growing wild atop one of the ranges near Mt Hotham.

Thanks, VivBraznell. The alpine country is truly beautiful even in summer without snow. There were other beautiful wild flowers but they were out of reach.
