Native Bluebell

Wahlenbergia sp

Description:

A slender, erect plant about 40 cms high with delicate stems ending in a five-petaled flower. The flowers were pale blue and about 6 mms across. Leaves are narrow and serrated - not as conspicuous.

Habitat:

Open forests. Grows in sunny spots.

Notes:

This plant is said to flower in Spring through to Summer. It is said to be native to New Zealand but appears wild here in Victoria
