Bigfin reef squids are easy to distinguish from other squids in that they possess thick and muscular oval fins that extend around almost the entire mantle.
The bigfin reef squid is a warm water-dwelling usually found near the shoreline, rocks and reefs.

Awesome
I love all sea creatures. People might think squid are ugly, but they are gorgeous.
Awesome!
Wow, I didn't know that the sea of the historical Gaya Island holds such magnificent squids.
Beautiful!!

Spotting of the Day!
"Bigfin reef squid put on quite a show! Not only can they spray ink as a defense mechanism but they can also change colors and patterns on their bodies to communicate."
