Tan snake with brown diamond-shaped blotches running the length of the back.
Found stretched out in the road in a desert. When I got out to take a photo, he went to the edge of the road and coiled up and watched me.

There are a whole bunch in midland lol.
Head out west, they are one of the snakes I see the most!
