Sciurus carolinensis is a tree squirrel in the genus Sciurus.

Habitat:

They are native to the eastern and mid-western United States, and to the southern regions of eastern Canada.

Notes:

This one was spotted foraging the the Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve.
