spider hanging out (I apologize) waiting for lunch to arrive

Habitat:

semi-arid tropical coastal ridgeline; weathered lava sparsely vegetated with scrub plants

Notes:

spotted inside an old observation bunker high up the ridge behind Kaena Point; this specimen had a web (I apologize) of friends and relatives inside the bunker
