Wigeon species with gray body, lightly speckled breast. Black rear, green speculum and white patch on wings. Reddish head with creamy crown.
Not native but has shown with flocks of American Wigeon or Green-winged Teal. Not common inland but found along the coast, bays and near coast bodies of water.
