gumtree two-tailed spider

Tamopsis sp

Description:

A pale well camouflaged (tree trunk had cream colour blotches) long-legged, flat-bodied spider about 20 mms long. There were two clearly visible tail spinnerets.

Habitat:

dry sclerophyll eucalyptus forest

Notes:

A very fast moving spider of the family: Hersillidae http://www.flickr.com/photos/50364443@N0... http://www.natureofgippsland.org/copperm... Unsure if mine is T.novaehollandiae so will leave it at genus level.
