Description:

Palm-like leaves, short and oblong at the base, sword-like towards the top.

Habitat:

Grassland in mango orchard; grass is cut regularly but not before it is at least a foot or more tall.

Notes:

The plant photographed has been transplanted from the wild and nurtured in a garden as part of an effort to ensure the survival of wild plants in the area.
