This hermit crab was the most common type of crab found around the small coral rag island of Chumbe, just off the coast of Tanzania. About 8 cm in diameter including shell. Help with ID appreciated.
Found on the beach.
Chumbe Island is a coral nature reserve developed since 1991. Find out more about Chumbe Island at http://www.chumbeisland.com
