Dendroaspis angusticeps
The eastern green mamba is overall glossy green in color with a lighter bright greenish-yellow belly. This is the smallest Mamba (dendroaspis) species, averaging only 1.4 metres (4.6 ft) in length http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_gre...
Very rarely seen on the ground these snakes thrive in trees of thickly forested areas.
Spotted at Reptilia Inc. Reptile Zoo and Educational Facility in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada. This species is native to east coast of southern Africa and occurs throughout much of eastern Africa. I should prob also mention this snake is highly venomous. The venom consists mainly of neurotoxins, cardiotoxins, calcicludine, and fasciculins.
