Forest dragon, this is not a tortoise. It is an Eastern Box Turtle, they belong to the American pond turtle family, emydidae.

Can you tell us a bit more about this Tortoise? Why is it on a table? Was it returned to the wild?

Since you know the ID of your organism, please add the scientific name. Without the scientific name, the Project Noah database considers your spotting "unknown" or unidentified.
Yours is an Eastern Box Turtle, Terrapene carolina carolina. (There are many different species of box turtles throughout the world).

Since you are fairly new here, it would be a good idea to take a few minutes to read through the FAQ page (if you haven't already done so): http://www.projectnoah.org/faq

I hope this helps. I look forward to seeing more from you!
