Carpenter Bee

Xylocopa confusa

Description:

I saved this bee one morning after a strong rain. I saw it lying and cannot get up. I quickly pick a dry stick and I let it climb and put the poor bee on a leaf from where it can rest. It also tried to flap its wings but they're still wet. I can feel how tired the bee was because on how it breaths and it even shows its tongue like a dog maybe to relax. I took a few shots before I left this guy resting on a leaf.
