This is perhaps the first time that I have witnessed a Daddy Long Leg feeding on a moth! The moth was live, but was not protesting. After a few photos I tried to lower the angle of my phone camera to get a closer view of the contact site, just then the Daddy Long Leg got disturbed and ran away.

I entirely agree with you for other possibilities such as poison.
Thanks for the elaborating info, I didn't know that about moths. And you're welcome, but take my suggestions and comments with grain of salt, because I might be wrong. The first suggestion(Metapercnia ductaria) I made for you today had also two or more similar species that I noticed later, but I'm quite sure the initial suggestion was right.
Also that this moth looks quite tired. I have seen it there for over 24 hours. Many moths wait like that and eventually die there.

Interesting! The moth would usually have no problem flying away, unless it was paralyzed? Do daddy long legs have some sort of venom that they use to immobilize their prey?
