Notes:

One of my favourite photos. I kept taking photos and stepping closer thinking it would fly away at any moment. It couldn't have cared less and I ended up with my camera lens practically on top of it! The fly was sitting on a trig point with fantastic views at the top of Mt Stirling.

I am not sure of the species, but it looks very similar to M. sinuata.
