This is a old taxidermy specimen and I can't seem to find any North American bird that matches, especially the forked tail with inner retrices lighter than the outer ones. I'm stumped.

It might be a very faded Greenfinch (European) where the yellow is almost pale grey.
The bird is also stumped.
