this is about 1/2" wide by 2" long. Attached to a drainage chain. the first two photos were taken 2 days before the hatching which is shown in the second two photos.

Hi IgCosta, this is a Fulgorid bug egg case. It could be a good fit to Eggs or Animal Architecture Mission
Alice, I am assuming that it is some type of Chrysalis...I really don't know. it has been there for about ten days...
