Description:

Group of Frigates, circling a school of fish off the west coast of Cozumel, Mexico .

Habitat:

This species lives on the coast and feeds mainly on fish. Frigatebirds never land on water, and always take their food items in flight. It spends days and nights on the wing. The only other bird known to spend days and nights on the wing is the Common Swift.
