Ardea alba egretta
Egret searching for its next meal at Long Caye, Lighthouse Reef atoll. It was approximately 3 feet (one meter) in height and had an approximate wingspan of 6 feet. It has a yellow bill and black legs and feet.
The Egret feeds in shallow water and can be readily seen in wetlands and bodies of water.
