I would guess it is a katydid nymph.
what about the Lentulidae family? - mostly small, typically sluggish,lacking wings, eyes,head & thorax very large. (Picker M., C. Griffiths & A. Weaving (2004) Field Guide to Insects of South Africa, Struik)
Is this some kind of katydid or grasshopper nymph? Very interesting and beautiful!
