@ Little Rex: yes I also tried to search after your suggestion and I also got confused in between so many varieties of this particular species.
It looks like it's from the family Fabaceae (Leguminosae/Legume family), subfamily mimosoideae, but it's a bit hard to ID. It seems a number of plants in this family have the same look of their flowers.
