I think the scientific name is wrong, Achispirostreptus Gigas can only be found in Africa. This species is slightly smaller than the African one, I spotted few specimens in West Malaysia, they were up to 25 centimetres. I tend to believe that the Malaysian species is a Trigoniulus but I may be wrong.

Seems like it might be a giant black millipede....found some video evidence of them in Malaysia on YouTube but science sites only show them in Africa. Is it possibly an invasive species from "pets" set loose. They can be purchased online.
