Alpine newt
Allthough we don't have that many herps in little Belgium I am Always quite happy to find some species in my garden. The fact that I do not use any pesticides and have a 'wild area' in the garden certainly helps ... and from time to time I check up of what I find. Today I found 5 toads and 2 alpine salamanders .... Happy me ;-)
