Certainly agree with your ID bayucca (female) and I did find references to 'Polyura pyrrhus sempronius' ie. sub species?
I think I'll let Martin check this though. Very messy and it's very much his thing.

Maybe some of the Australian ladies or guys might help with the actual taxon. I think it is Polyura sempronius, not Polyura pyrrhus?
Nymphalidae, Charaxinae, Polyura sempronius, sometimes also/still (?) called Polyura pyrrhus.
