Description:

yields a profusion of fragrant, pale pink-white blooms in the spring. The tree's bark exhibits a glossy quality, and its foliage is dark green in the summer and yellow in the fall.

Habitat:

very versatile—growing in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy, well-drained and clay soils. While it prefers moist conditions, the tree has some drought tolerance.
