Profane Grass-Veneer

Fissicrambus profanellus

Fissicrambus profanellus is a moth of the Crambidae family. This guy right here got scared out of the grass, when I was walking in some leaf litter. This moth is found in the southern part of the United States (including Alabama, Florida, South Carolina and Texas), the Caribbean (including Jamaica and the Virgin Islands) and Central America (including Nicaragua).

In my garden, Fort Worth, Texas.

Is about 1 cm long.
