Anolis equestris
suburban trees, parks, etc.
A little more stealthy than the smaller brown anoles, they spend most of their time up trees. They are very common here though, though not seen as often.

Seems as though the night anole is a dangerous invasive species to south Fl. I've lived here all my life and years ago saw nothing like these native anole eating dinosaurs !!! Pythons are wiping the Everglades out, these are on there way to wiping our back yards out...
Lovely spot!
This is another non-native anole here. It is native to Cuba and it is, I think, the largest of the anoles. (about 15in). They seem a little more aggressive too. It is pretty exclusively arboreal.
Are they a relative of the Green anole because it lives higher than the brown also.
