Description:

The black vulture is a black vulture with dark gray head and legs and short tail. Eats dead animals and can also capture small live animals. Has a wing span of 4 3/4 feet and it made a loud swooshing sound as it few over me.

Habitat:

Spotted on a chimney top at one of the buildings at Kinder Farm Park in Millersville, Maryland.
