Northern Bald Ibis

Geronticus eremita

Description:

This bird was spotted at a monkey zoo in Holland. He was looking down upon his red cousins who lived in captivity. I don't know if it is a wild stray or one from the zoo itself. I only know that he was not behind a fence and that he still was able to fly.

Great spotting. He does have a marker of some kind on his ankle though so even if he doesn't live in the zoo, he has been recorded.
