Fan clubmoss

Diphasiastrum digitatum

Description:

Fan clubmoss, also known as crowsfoot, is a type of clubmoss, which are related to ferns. I have never seen this type of clubmoss, and I did my best to identify it. I thought the 4 branches of the sporophyte were a decent indicator. Please suggest alternate identifications if warranted.

Habitat:

Disturbed forests, coniferous forests.
